Or at least one API
It’s exposed through Selenium, even though I personally prefer arsenic, which has probably less features but is asynchronous (and web browsers are generally slow, with respect to the time taken for the “average program” to execute).
Effects
I am not sure wether this is an incentive or not for website developers to implement a sensible API.
